Ghanaian content creator Almed has finally addressed persistent rumours about his sexuality, expressing frustration over the ongoing speculation.
During a recent Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Almed responded to a fan’s bold question: “Why are you gay?”
The popular creator, known for his vibrant personality and humorous content, revealed that he often finds himself in uncomfortable situations where people make assumptions about his sexuality without any factual basis.
“I don’t find it very comfortable when people assume your sexuality for you. Okay, give me money instead of asking about my sexuality. What will my sexuality do for me?” he responded candidly.
Almed emphasised that such assumptions are unnecessary and intrusive, calling for more respect for personal boundaries.
Beyond addressing the rumours, he also shared his views on mentorship and helping others become influencers. Almed admitted he’s hesitant to personally mentor aspiring creators, citing concerns about privacy and trust.
“I wouldn’t like to help someone become an influencer because some of you have problems. Maybe what I’ll do is organise content creation classes — to teach people how to go about content creation. Some people don’t know how to keep quiet; they’ll send your information out there. For privacy reasons, I don’t want to mentor anybody,” he replied.
However, Almed hinted at possible future workshops aimed at guiding aspiring creators on producing quality content while maintaining professionalism and respecting personal boundaries in the digital space.
