The National Executive Council of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has announced the release of the April allowance for all service personnel. This follows several strike actions by personnel in various districts.
In a communiqué issued on July 3, NASPA stated that after extensive discussions with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and other stakeholders, the April allowance has been disbursed. Funds are expected to be reflected in accounts by Friday, July 5, 2024, with the May allowance to be paid shortly thereafter.
