The Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ruth Dela Seddoh, has announced the introduction of a Digital Skills Training Programme for National Service Personnel (NSP) across the country.
Speaking at a press briefing held at the National Service Head Office on the theme “On Time Table for National Service Posting and Pre-deployment Activities,” Seddoh revealed that the initiative would begin this year following approval by the National Service Board.
“The NSS Board has approved the introduction of a digital skills training programme for all National Service personnel beginning this year. This initiative aims to provide graduates with practical digital and soft skills in areas such as digital marketing, website development, and cybersecurity, preparing them for the demands of today’s technology-driven world,” she said.
She further explained that the programme is designed to empower the next generation by enhancing employability and fostering national development.
“The policy seeks to improve employability, foster innovation, and empower young Ghanaians to actively contribute to national development in the digital space,” Seddoh added.
