The 66th University of Ghana SRC President Frank Tsikata, has confirmed that the much-anticipated medals and scrolls for the graduating Class of 2024 are now ready and will soon be available for collection.
“The medallions are ready for all students; I’m happy to say they are ready now for all students.”
Tsikata, who led efforts through his SRC administration last year to expand ceremonial regalia and gained management approval to award medals and scrolls to all graduating students, said the initiative underscores a commitment to recognizing academic dedication across all degree classifications.
He urged graduates to wait for further communication from the Academic Affairs Directorate regarding distribution.
“We advise everyone to hold on until they get more communication from the Academic Affairs Directorate, as we are making some modifications,” he said.
He added that students will be able to collect their medals and scroll cases in their respective regions, eliminating the need to travel to the main campus.
“They will be available in all the regions across the country, so there is no need for you to come all the way to Accra for your medals or scroll case.”
