“Make a positive impact on society with your knowledge” – KNUST Provost to graduates

Provost for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Prof. Ben Kwaku Branoh Banful has urged the graduating class of the 2023/2024 College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) to apply their acquired knowledge and enhance the skills they have developed during the time in the university. 

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is hosting its first in-person congregation ceremony after the covid 19 pandemic for the 2023 batch of graduands who have completed their programs during the 2022/2023 academic year across all Colleges and the School of Graduate Studies.

He also commended the graduating class for their hard work and perseverance. He encouraged them to adapt to the changing world by continually building on their skills and knowledge to stay relevant.

“Now, to the graduating class of 2023. Allow me to say, ‘ayekoo’ to your hard work and perseverance. As you embark on this new phase of your life, allow me to offer some words of advice. It is now up to you to make the most of the knowledge and skills you have acquired for the betterment of society. As the world continues to change, so are you required to continue to build on your skills and knowledge in order to remain relevant to society.”

Prof Ben Kwaku Nkrumah Banful also encouraged graduands to make the effort to be part of the alumni association and be active members of the association.

“I wish to encourage you to register with the KNUST Alumni Association and then treat you to be active members of this global fraternity.”

He concluded by invoking the blessing of God on them as they embarked on this new phase of life.

“In closing, permit me to invoke the blessings of the Almighty God upon you, guiding your path toward unique opportunities, expertise, and discoveries. May the good Lord continue to bring peace and comfort to your heart and be gracious to you now and forever.”

The congregation ceremonies for both the undergraduate and graduate school of studies are scheduled to take place from November 9th to the 24th of November 2023.
