The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released provisional results for both school-based and private candidates who sat for the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
This was revealed in a press release dated January 25, 2023, signed by WAEC’s Head of Legal, Rev. Victor Brew on behalf of the Head of National Office.
WAEC said it will dispatch the results of school candidates to their respective schools through the Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors of Education.
However, Private Candidates can access the results at the Council’s website www.waecgh.org.
School candidates who so desire, may also access their results online at the Council’s website, it added.
Here are ways to check your results
Visit the WAEC portal, www.waecgh.org.
• Enter your Index Number.
• Select the Type of Examination (e.g. BECE)
• Select your Examination Year which is 2022.
• Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
• Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher.
• Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
• Finally, Click on Submit and wait for the display tab in the popup window.
You could as well check your results via sms by dialing *944#
Be guided that the cost of each Results Checker PIN is GHS 10 whilst the cost of an SMS text for the results is GHS6.00.
