The closure of the Accra Sports Stadium by the National Sports Authority (NSA) for maintenance has led to four Ghana Premier League clubs choosing the University of Ghana Sports Stadium as their home ground.
These clubs include Hearts of Oak, Accra Lions, Dreams FC, and Legon Cities.
The stadium, which has a 10,000-seat capacity and was recently renovated for the Accra African Games, will host several matches, including Hearts of Oak vs. Bechem United this weekend.
Dreams FC will lock horns with Kpando Heart of Lions at the UG stadium.
Accra Lions are expected to take on Nsoatreman FC at the same venue.
This switch makes the University of Ghana Stadium the likely temporary home for up to four clubs in the coming weeks as maintenance work continues at other centers.
