The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has urged members of faith-based groups to be cautious in their communication of prophecies, as the year 2022 comes to a close. This preventative measure being spearheaded by GPS is to ensure that citizens are able to “express their religion freely without unnecessary fear of impending death, danger or harm” in the coming year, and also to enforce law and order in the country.
The 27th of December has been set aside as the Prophecy Communications Compliance Day by the Ghana Police Service, to serve as a reminder to religious communities to practice their faith, within the confines of the law to ensure a safety environment, free from anxiety generated from fear of death or danger through such prophecies.
