GAF Officers Sports Club finish third in UG Corporate Football League

The Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club clinched third place in the maiden edition of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League after defeating the National Petroleum Authority 5–4 in a penalty shootout, following a 2–2 draw at full time.

‎The Armed Forces took early control of the match, with goals from Michael Amoh and Leslie Yalley putting them two goals ahead. The National Petroleum Authority responded late in the first half, as Maxwell Nayo calmly converted a penalty to reduce the deficit.

‎Nayo continued his strong performance in the second half, scoring again to draw the game level. Later in the match, he earned a second penalty after being brought down inside the box, but his effort was saved by Daniel Amankwah in a crucial moment.

‎In the penalty shootout, Amankwah stepped up once more with a decisive save, helping the Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club secure a 5–4 victory and the bronze medal.
