The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has issued a strong denial regarding recent claims of recruitment calls circulating online, labeling them as fraudulent.
This warning comes in response to the ongoing online spread of fake recruitment schemes being circulated by fraudulent individuals impersonating the Food and Drugs Authority.
In a public statement released on December 13, 2024, the FDA urged individuals to be cautious of online scams that falsely claim to be part of the authority’s recruitment process.
“The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) wishes to inform the public about recent fake recruitment scams. These scams typically involve fraudulent messages or emails asking for personal information or money in exchange for a job at the Food and Drugs Authority.”
To protect against falling victim to such scams, the FDA recommended that the public take necessary precautions, including ignoring any unsolicited messages or emails asking for personal details.
The FDA also advised individuals to report any suspicious communications to its Head Office or any Regional Office across the country.
