As the nation gears up for the December 7th polls, the atmosphere is charged with anticipation. Various candidates have delivered their final speeches, emphasizing on their policies and its impact on the country.

In the midst of this, Univers News engaged with some students at the University of Ghana, who shared their perspective on the current political climate.

For some students, the upcoming election feels personal, a decisive moment for their future. “Youth unemployment is a critical issue here in Ghana, and I’m afraid of my future in this country,” one student shared. “I want a government that will come and push for jobs, education, and entrepreneurial opportunities.”

The frustration with corruption was palpable. “I am tired of the two major political parties” another student said passionately. “We need leaders who use our resources wisely and serve the people, not themselves, their friends, or their family and i don’t see that in any of the political leaders”
