Sources close to the media, confirm that the aim of the summons from the Chief of Staff is to get Sammy Gyamfi to explain into details the circumstances surrounding the encounter with the preacher which has left a sour taste in the mouth of the new administration in light of its resolve against public display of opulence.

The Code of Conduct launched by the President is to whip public officials into line with regards to their conduct and use of official status in dealing with members of the public.

Meanwhile, on his social media handles, Mr Gyamfi has apologized for his indiscretion over the incident which he details as a private act of kindness which found its way into the public domain.
