After a destructive rainstorm ravaged the infrastructure of the Peki-Dzake Evangelical Presbyterian Junior High School in the Volta Region, hope emerged in the form of infrastructural support from the Council of Ewe Associations of North America (CEANA).

The provision of a classroom block by the association was occasioned by a rainstorm which wreaked havoc on the Peki Dzake E.P JHS building.

In an effort to address the urgent need for rebuilding, CEANA sponsored the construction of a 3-unit classroom block, providing a vital lifeline for the school’s educational endeavors. With a call to prioritize learning, the president of CEANA underscored the significance of education and urged students to embrace their studies wholeheartedly.

In recognition of this commendable effort, the South Dayi District Chief Executive; Dr. Tsatsu Nyamadi lauded CEANA’s initiative and pledged further enhancements to education in the district, promising to construct a teachers’ bungalow for the school’s dedicated educators.

“I am promising you that before the year ends, I will construct a teachers bungalow here for the teachers so they can have easy access to the school and the pupils”, he said.
