Augustina Naa Ashong donates essential items to UG GMSA to support them for Ramadan

In a remarkable act of generosity, Augustina Naa Adaku Ashong has donated essential supplies to the Ghana Muslim Students Association (GMSA) at the University of Ghana to support them during Ramadan.

The donation, made on Friday, March 7, 2025, included key provisions such as Milo, Buta, mats, bottled water, and milk—items intended to enhance the well-being of students as they observe the holy month.

Speaking on behalf of GMSA while receiving the donation, the association’s Women’s Commissioner, Sua’d Issaka, expressed deep appreciation for Augustina’s kind gesture. She assured her that GMSA would always stand by her when needed.

“We are truly grateful for this generous donation from Augustina. We pray that the Almighty Allah blesses her abundantly, and we wish her success in all her future endeavors. Mother GMSA will always be here to support her whenever she calls on us.”

Augustina Naa Adaku Ashong’s philanthropic gesture reflects her strong commitment to student welfare and education. Her selfless contribution not only provides practical support but also serves as an inspiration, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community.

Currently a Level 300 student studying Information Studies at the University of Ghana, Augustina is deeply passionate about student affairs and well-being. As the General Secretary of the Information Studies Department, she has demonstrated outstanding leadership, striving to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students on campus. Her dedication to service and leadership continues to leave a lasting impact.
