Ghanaian television personality Anita Akua Akuffo wins Most Promising Lady at the 2025 Ghana Women Awards.

Ghanaian television personality Anita Akua Akuffo has once again proven her place among the nation’s brightest media stars after being named Most Promising Lady at the 2025 Ghana Women Awards.

The award recognizes Anita’s remarkable journey from beauty pageant contestant to one of Ghana’s most admired broadcasters.

This year’s edition of the Ghana Women Awards was held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

The event, organized by Brein Consult  in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, was held under the theme “Promoting Gender Equality and Empowering Women in Ghana.”

Currently a presenter with Media General’s TV3, she co-hosts popular programs such as Date Rush and The Afternoon Show, where her grace, confidence, and professionalism have earned her widespread respect and admiration.

Anita’s rise, however, has not been without hurdles. She has previously shared how she made the bold decision to prioritize her career dreams over a relationship that stood in her way — a defining moment that shaped her path to success.

From competing in Miss Malaika and Miss ECOWAS 2012 to becoming a nationally recognized television figure, her growth story continues to inspire many.

Beyond her elegance and on-screen charisma, Anita embodies the power of determination, focus, and resilience.

Her latest achievement goes beyond personal success — it reinforces the message that women can thrive and lead in their chosen fields when they remain true to their purpose.
