Ghana is gearing up to host the 13th All African games in March 2024,welcoming 53 nations.The games will feature 23 competitive sporting disciplines,including athletics,badminton,cycling,swimming,table tennis,triathlon,wrestling,arm wrestling,beach volleyball,3×3 basketball,boxing,chess,cricket,football, handball,hockey,judo,karate-do,rugby,taekwondo,volleyball and weightlifting.
Here are the venues that will host these competitions in Ghana.
1. Accra Sports Stadium
The opening ceremony of the All-African Games will take place at the 40,000-seating capacity stadium,providing a stage for the vibrant display of African culture,heritage and athletic excellence.Esteemed guests,including government officials,sports figures and international visitors, will grace the grand event. Additionally,the Accra Sports Stadium is set to host several football games during the 13th edition of the All African Games.
2. University of Ghana
The expansive University of Ghana campus is poised to offer an ideal setting for the varied sporting disciplines featured in the All African Games.Hosting activities like rugby,athletics, squash and football,the campus will also double as a game village.The University of Ghana management areenthusiastic about the opportunity to craft an engaging and unforgettable experience for athletes, officials, and spectators alike.
3. Accra Hockey Pitch
The Hockey Pitch located in Accra stands as an exclusive venue ready to host a pack of thrilling competitions.The hockey pitch boasts state-of-the-art facilities and will host the hockey games at the 13th All-African games in Ghana.The pitch is a symbol of the city’s devotion to promoting sports,fostering unity, and creating memories as it takes center stage in the grand spectacles of the All-African games.
4. Achimota Cricket
The Achimota Cricket facility will host all cricket games at the 13th edition of the All-African Games.All cricket stars across the African continent will converge at the Achimota Cricket field to showcase their talent to the rest of the world. 
Achimota Gulf
Achimota Golf club is set to make history as the host venue for the 13th All-African games, offering a scenic environment for this great sporting event.Well-known for its grasslands and rich heritage,Achimota Golf club welcomes athletes from across Africa to contest in a tournament that combines superiority in golf.
6. Borteyman Sports Complex
The newly built Borteyman Sports complex will welcome athletes from diverse nations,as it will host 21 sporting disciplines including swimming,netball,chess,volleyball and boxing amongst others.The sports complex features a 400-meter,6-lane athletics warm-up track with a football playing field,separate washrooms for males and females,a spectator stand accommodating around 500 people,a versatile swimming pool with a capacity of a thousand seats,collapsible to 500 seats,an 8-lane competition swimming pool,an 8-lane warm-up swimming pool and a temporary dome with a seating capacity of 500.
The 13th African Games will be held in Ghana from 8 to 23 March 2024.
