Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, has rendered a sincere apology to the people of Ghana following the disappointing performance of the Black Stars against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.

In a Twitter post, the West Ham Star acknowledged the team’s mistakes and shared the fans’ frustration.

The Black Stars led by Mohammed Kudus held Sudan to a goalless in Accra before falling to a 2-0 loss at the hands of the Falcons of Jediane in Libya on matchday four of the qualifying series.

Ghana must now win their final two qualifiers against Angola and Niger in November, while hoping Sudan, who sit second with seven points, falter in their remaining games, to stand a chance of qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

In relation to that, Kudus revealed their readiness to learning from their errors, regrouping, and working hard to restore the team’s former glory. He also promised to redeem themselves and make their fans proud once again.

The Black Stars sit third in Group F with just two points from four games, drawing two and losing two.
