Today, May 15, 2023, students at the University of Ghana are starting lectures for the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.

This marks the beginning of the continuation of their studies following an inter-semester break after the end of the first semester.

The start of the second semester has been met with mixed reactions from students.

As with any new semester, students are excited to continue their academic journey, and there is a sense of anticipation and enthusiasm in the air.

For many students, the start of the second semester signifies the opportunity to learn new things, acquire new skills, and deepen their understanding of their chosen fields of study.

At the same time, some students have predicted the semester to be a stressful period as they adjust to new schedules, courses, and instructors.

However, the University of Ghana is known for its excellent academic support and resources, including academic advisors, counseling services, and tutoring programs, to help students navigate the challenges of a new semester.

The University of Ghana continues to invest in modern infrastructure, technology, and research facilities to provide students with an innovative and world-class education.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo is set to cut sod for the first Hotspot Comfort Zone construction under the Digitalisation Initiative.

The construction is being sponsored by the University of Ghana Alumni Association.

The Hotspot Comfort Zones are part of a three-pronged initiative aimed at providing a conducive environment for students to engage in online learning and research.

The sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the first Hotspot Comfort Zone is scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11 a.m.

The event will take place adjacent to the Maison Française and the Athletics Oval on the university campus.
