UGSRC Presidential and Vice-Presidential aspirants Nkonimadom Yeboah and Leticia Kumesi, have pledged to roll out initiatives that will promote innovation and improve student welfare.

‎The pair faced the vetting panel on Saturday, August 3, 2025, as part of the process to select the next crop of student leaders.

‎One of their flagship ideas is to provide 500 gigabytes of data to all beneficiaries of the SRC YIBOBOA Scholarship.

‎”We will allocate 500 gigabytes to all beneficiaries of the SRC YIBOBOA scholarship. This is to ease the academic stress of underprivileged students. Funding will come from the scholarship scheme’s budget.”

‎Another highlight of their policy outline is the Thousand Ideas Project, which will support 1,000 students with innovative and entrepreneurial ideas. The initiative will be run in collaboration with the University of Ghana Business School and its Innovation Hub, providing mentorship, funding, and working space for student innovators.

‎”We want an SRC that has strategic plans not just for one administration, but for those that will come after us. Our goal is to create lasting impact.”

‎With the elections drawing closer, the Nkonimadom-Leticia ticket is banking on its message of innovation, long-term planning, and student support to win over the electorate.
