GFA releases 2025/26 Ghana Premier League fixtures

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the fixtures for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. The season will be a thrilling ride for fans as teams battle it out for the coveted league title, with Gold Stars SC heading into the new season as the defending champions after securing the 2024/2025 title.

The opening match week of the 2025/26 season will see defending champions Gold Stars SC host Bechem United, setting the tone for what is expected to be an action-packed season.

This will be followed by a thrilling encounter between Kpando Hearts of Lions FC and Dreams FC. The two teams will face off in what is sure to be an exciting contest, as both sides look to begin their campaign with a win.

Other fixtures on match week 1 include Basake Holy Stars take on Eleven Wonders FC, while Karela United FC will face off against Aduana FC.

Nations FC will be up against Swedru All Blacks FC, with both teams keen to start the season strong. Asante Kotoko SC, who will be looking to claim the league title, will lock horns with Berekum Chelsea, while Accra Hearts of Oak will face newly promoted side Hohoe United FC in an exciting match.

The rest of the fixtures for Match week 1 is will be Vision FC hosting FC Samartex 1996 and Young Apostles also facing off with Medeama SC.

The Super Clash: Hearts vs Kotoko

The Super Clash, being one of the most anticipated fixtures in the Ghanaian football scene between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, will come off on match week 5 and match week 22.

The two Ghanaian football giants have a long-standing rivalry, and this match is expected to capture the attention of football fans across the country and beyond.
