Vice chancellor of the University of Ghana Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, has been named an ambassador for gender equality and social inclusion by the Association of African Universities.
She was recognized for her exceptional leadership and longstanding commitment to social integration, underscoring her dedication to ensuring gender, disability, and social identities are fully represented and celebrated in academia.
As the first female vice chancellor of the University of Ghana, this is one of several awards she has received during her tenure for breaking barriers and reaffirming her influence in global academia.
