Ghanaian rap sensation Awal Mohammed, widely known for his lyrical prowess and early association with Sarkodie, has publicly issued a heartfelt apology to the award-winning rapper, pleading for forgiveness and a chance to rekindle their broken relationship.
In a deeply emotional interview on Hitz FM with Dr. Pounds on July 15, 2025, Awal expressed regret for any wrongdoing, whether intentional or not, and humbly asked Sarkodie to accept him once again as a son and mentee.
“I don’t know if I have done him wrong or not,” Awal began. “But I am still a child. I might have said or done something that he didn’t like. But today, I am here on your show to beg him to forgive me and take me back as a son. I’m also pleading with Ghanaians to talk to him on my behalf, to help me, to put me on.”
