The Miss University of Ghana 2025 pageant entered its second week on July 6 with a new challenge themed “Professional Social Engagement.” This round required contestants to take on the role of advocates, shedding light on key challenges affecting student life at the University of Ghana.
Clad in official wear, the 28 contestants made a confident entrance in pairs, energizing the audience with vibrant dance performances. Hosts Danito and Heebat guided the evening’s program, smoothly transitioning into the main segment—presentations.
Each contestant addressed a specific issue using PowerPoint as a visual aid. Topics ranged from sexual harassment, academic pressure, and mental health concerns to toxic relationships and student welfare. The segment highlighted the contestants’ confidence, communication skills, and deep concern for real change on campus.
The panel of judges shared their impressions throughout the night, offering feedback and commending the contestants for their efforts.
By the end of the event, five contestants were recognized for their exceptional performance in the following categories:
- Overall Best Performer – Kella
- Best Presentation – Mary
- Highest Votes – Oforiwaa
- Most Eloquent Contestant – Jasmine
- Best Dressed – Julia
The evening also saw the exit of five contestants: Tina, Ria, Abena, Queenie, and Princess, narrowing the competition to 24 finalists, each with a strong chance of winning the crown.
As the pageant progresses, anticipation grows. With beauty, intelligence, and purpose on full display, the big question remains: Who will be crowned Miss University of Ghana 2025?
