Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC has officially announced the appointment of Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as the new Head Coach of the senior team. The confirmation came through a press release issued on Thursday, June 20, 2025.
The 58 year old gaffer joins the Phobians on a two-year deal, bringing with him a wealth of experience from both local and international football.
He takes over from Coach Aboubakar Ouattara, who led the club to a much-improved 5th-place finish in the just-ended 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Coach Dramani is one of Ghana’s most respected football minds. His coaching journey includes leading Asante Kotoko to back-to-back league titles, as well as serving in key roles with FC Nordsjælland and the Right to Dream Academy.
On the national level, he has worked as assistant coach for the Ghana Black Stars, head coach of the Black Galaxies, and famously guided Ghana’s U-17 Women’s National Team to a historic bronze medal at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup — the first African team to earn a medal at that level.
According to the club’s release, Coach Dramani will meet the playing squad in the coming days to outline his football philosophy, tactical vision, and expectations for the team.
His immediate focus will be on preparing the squad for the 2025 President’s Cup and the Eko International Tournament in Nigeria, which serve as early opportunities to assess the team’s strength and apply his methods ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
