The James Topp Nelson Yankah Hall, popularly known as TF Hostel, is gearing up for a thrilling climax to its Hall Week celebrations with this year’s Artiste Night, scheduled to take place at the Taxi Rank Car Park, directly opposite the hostel. The event forms the grand finale to a week of vibrant activities, which kicked off on June 10, 2025.

This year’s edition will be headlined by Kelvynboy, one of Ghana’s leading Afrobeat artists, known for hits like Down Flat and Mea. He will be joined on stage by other exciting acts, including dancehall star Larusso and renowned dancer Incredible Zigi, promising a night of unforgettable music and electrifying performances.

Last year, TF made headlines after their Artiste Night, which was initially set to feature Shatta Wale, faced controversy. A communique from the Dean of Students, Prof. Rosina Kyerematen, revealed that the hostel had breached certain terms of agreement, resulting in the removal of Shatta Wale from the event. Despite this setback, the show still went ahead with other artists thrilling the crowd.

This year, the organisers appear poised to deliver a smooth and spectacular experience, having addressed previous issues. Anticipation is high as students and music lovers alike prepare for what many expect to be one of the standout campus events of the semester.
