The Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has indicated the possibility of an increment in the allowances of national service personnel.

Speaking on Campus Exclusive, Mr. Gyamfi has revealed that the government is currently reviewing the matter and emphasized the president’s commitment to addressing the concerns of service personnel.

“I am sure he is looking into it and considering the options. Knowing President Mahama, he will act in time to bring some relief to our brothers and sisters,” he said.

Mr. Gyamfi also attributed the presence of ghost names on the national service payroll to poor leadership by the previous administration, asserting that the issue could be resolved with effective management.

“It is not as if it is difficult to address. These names can be eliminated easily. If leadership is effective, we will not have situations like this”
