UG advances to semi-finals of Tertiary Business Sense Challenge 6.0

The University of Ghana Business School has secured a place in the semi-finals of the Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC) Version 6.0 after an impressive victory in the quarterfinals.

They defeated the Ghana Communication Technology University with a score of 62 to 37.5 in a competition held at the GNAT Hall, Nungua, on 30th September 2024, moderated by Alhassan Yussif Trawale.

The University of Ghana team featured Sowah Jonathan Nii Laryea, a level 300 accounting student; Peter Emeka Ike, a level 300 banking and finance student; and Edwin Entsiey, a level 400 finance and economics student. After emerging as the South-East Zonal Champions, they are now gearing up for the semi-finals, inching closer to the grand finale.

The Tertiary Business Sense Challenge promotes academic excellence among business students while fostering networking opportunities between lecturers and students.

The TBSC is organized by Graphic Business in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
