Ghana U-20 player Isaac Pappoe joins Hungarian side Ferencvárosi

Champions of the 2023/24 Hungary OTP Bank League Ferencvárosi TC has announced the signing of Ghanaian player Isaac Pappoe ahead of the upcoming season.

The 20-year-old has become the first signing of the club after a successful loan spell with Swiss second-tier club FC Aarau where he scored 2 goals and delivered 4 assists in 28 games for the club. The Ghanaian was signed by Israeli FC Ashdod in 2022 before he was transferred on loan.

Sporting Director of Ferencvárosi Mr. Tamás Hajnal highlighted some qualities of Isaac Pappoe and believes the Ghanaian can be an important addition to the team.

Isaac Pappoe is a very talented player with excellent qualities, a complex midfielder who has convinced us with his abilities in both defensive and offensive phases. Despite his young age, he shows a very mature game. His physical attributes, speed, and ball control have caught our attention. He’s a winner-minded player, and we hope he’ll utilize his skills at Ferencváros. Considering the future, Isaac could be an important signing for us, and we hope he’ll showcase his talent to our fans as soon as possible

The 20-year-old has represented Ghana twice at the U-20 level and is yet to make a Senior National Team Appearance.
