We know that you are mentally and physically ready to win the cup. We are ready to give you all the support. Ghana is a football nation and I’m sure that you’re physically mentally and morally prepared to play and not only to play but to win… it’s about forty years plus since we last won and this is the time where we should win to show that Ghana is back.”

“I hope you perform well to conquer and win the 2023 AFCON. Good luck and be rest assured that the embassy, you have our full support. All the best,” Ambassador Frederick Daniel Laryea admonished the players.

Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton, also in his address, assured that his team is working tirelessly to ensure they live up to expectations at the 2023 AFCON tournament.

According to the Irish trainer, winning the coveted trophy holds high significance for the team.

He further expressed the team’s eagerness to play at their maximum best in the AFCON, describing the competition as a big one.
