Speaking in an exclusive interview with Univers Sports, Mr. Sakyi Afari indicated how the championship has been improving over the years since its inception; he explained that the target of the project is to blend basketball with Music and Fashion is on course.
“This year, we came back with four countries. We need to add more if we want to do good. We just want more countries to come to Ghana to play basketball, exhibit fashion trends and enjoy some good music. Our target is to ensure that people are not only going to enjoy music but have a taste of basketball together with music and fashion. We are excited that some scouts have put this on their calendar meaning they will be available every December to scout players.”
The 2023 African Basketball Championship is expected to be held at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
