‎With just a day to the much-anticipated final of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League, Union Ghana’s head coach, Nii Addo Tetteh, has boldly declared his side’s readiness to lift the coveted trophy when they face Ghana Civil Aviation Authority in what promises to be a thrilling finale.

‎Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Coach Tetteh struck a confident tone, highlighting Union Ghana’s history of excellence and dominance in corporate football.

‎”Union has been always ready. You know, we never lose, It seems like a mantra that everybody hears, but we live up to the billing. For about 25 years we’ve been in existence and it’s been winning throughout. We never lose,” he said.

‎‎Union Ghana, one of the most established and successful teams in the league, have built a strong reputation this season. Despite suffering a lone group stage defeat to Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club, the team bounced back in style to book their place in the final.

‎Coach Tetteh noted that their track record speaks for itself and believes this final is simply another opportunity to showcase their consistency.

‎“We are not promising things we’ve never delivered before. These are things we’ve done before, and we are simply going to repeat it. It’s just another day in the office,” he added.

‎Their opponents, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, also come into the final with something to prove. After a shaky start that saw them lose their opening match to Forestry Commission, they have grown stronger with each fixture, grinding their way to the championship match.

‎But Union Ghana remain unfazed, placing their faith in teamwork and preparation.

‎ “We’ll focus on what we’ve been training on, focus on ourselves. Our greatest strength is our unity. We are bringing that on the park again and then we’ll deliver what we are supposed to deliver and take the cover up,” Coach Tetteh concluded.

‎‎The final is expected to draw a large crowd as fans from across the corporate world converge to witness which side will emerge as the best in corporate football this season. With both teams boasting passionate support and quality players, the match is set up to be a pulsating affair.
