Within the first few months of the administration, we are not like the erstwhile administration. When there was one, you
saw appointments immediately. We are still going to work with our transitional team. They are going to do a lot of the hard
work, making sure SRC is ready before the academic year commences, Students, need to be cushioned in these difficult economic times.

He also added that he will appoint capable students who have the students’ interests at heart.

One thing we can promise is that student’s interests will be put first. We will appoint people we believe can do a very good, very good job. So as to whether the person was a candidate, or not, it doesn’t really matter. It’s a simple matter of can the person does good work, then we will put them there . They will pursue their SRC projects as they should.

Meanwhile the Newly sworn Treasurer, Michael Kuti says he hopes they kick start their projects two months into their administration.

In the first two months, we should start with the processes on the projects that should be,  almost through them.
