#UGDecides: I’ll introduce standardized shuttle fares if you vote for me – Vida Mintah assures students

General Secretary Candidate in this year’s University of Ghana Students Representative Council (UGSRC) elections, Vida Mintah, has assured students of introducing a standardized shuttle fare if she is given the chance to be the General Secretary of the SRC for the 2022/2023 academic year.

The candidate said this during a face to face interaction between her opponents ahead of the SRC elections on Tuesday October 25, 2022.

Vida Mintah indicated that the standardized shuttle fare will help to facilitate the easy movement of students from their rooms to the various lecture halls.

Among other policies, Vida Mintah assured students that she is going to collaborate with other Junior Common Room executives to renovate all notice boards on the University’s campus.

With information dissemination, Vida Mintah also promised to create an SRC website that will be connected to the University’s main website to put information on the fingertips of students.

The University of Ghana Students’ Representative Council elections are expected to be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

The elections will be held online with assistance from the University of Ghana Computing Systems (UGCS).

Voting is expected to begin at 8:00am and end at 5:00pm.

Face to Face with Radio Univers

Every year ahead of the University of Ghana Students Representative Council elections, Campus-based Media station, Radio Univers holds a Face to Face interaction with candidates in the race.

The Treasurer, General Secretary, and Presidential candidates are questioned based on their policies and given the chance to defend their plans for students.

The platform also gives the candidates the chance to connect directly to students of the University to solicit their votes and support.
