Week 9 of the 2026 University of Ghana Corporate Football League (UGCFL) takes place on Friday, April 24, 2026. Group B will feature five matches at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, starting at 5 p.m.
Wilmar Africa will face Telecel Ghana in the opening match, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting evening. Wilmar currently occupies second place on the table with a five-point lead, while Telecel, in fourth place, will be eager to close the gap. Both teams have demonstrated strong form, and fans can expect a highly competitive encounter.
In the next fixture, BOST Energies will take on the Lebanese Sports Community (Leb Sports). BOST will be looking to set the tempo early, as they sit just below Leb Sports on the table. However, Leb Sports have shown in previous fixtures that they can trouble any opponent.
National Communications Authority (NCA) will then face Union Ghana in what promises to be a closely contested match. Both teams will be desperate for points—Union to climb up the table and NCA to move further away from the bottom. This fixture has all the makings of a game that could go down to the wire.
In the fourth match, Ghana Airports Company Limited will take on Zenith Bank FC. Zenith come into the game in strong form, having defeated Union, the Season One runners-up, in their previous match.
Ghana Airports, however, have their own motivation. Sitting at the bottom of the table, they know that a win is not just important but essential.
The final match of the evening will see the Forestry Commission take on the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) in what could be the standout fixture of the night. Both teams are aware of the stakes—a win for Forestry would boost their position on the table, while victory for NPA would strengthen their hold at the top.
