In a shocking turn of event, a car accident involving popular musician and aspiring UGSRC president, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, known professionally as Guru, and his running mate, Jeffery Adu-Yeboah, popularly known as JayLit and two other team members occurred around 10:45am on the UPSA – American House stretch earlier today, July 29, 2024

Guru and his team were on their way to a scheduled tutorial class on University of Ghana campus when the accident occurred. According to eyewitnesses, the accident was caused by the reckless driving of a taxi driver who failed to check before entering the highway. Guru, who was driving at the time, was unable to avoid the collision, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.

Fortunately, all six occupants of the vehicles involved including the taxi driver and his passenger were rushed to the hospital and have since been discharged. Guru and his team suffered internal bleeding and are currently recovering at home. JayLit has been spotted with a cast on his arm, revealing a fractured arm in the wake of the recent accident.

Reports says the taxi driver apologized for his actions, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.

In a surprising twist, JayLit, Guru’s running mate, took to his WhatsApp status to share an eerie observation.

We saw these bird feathers from nowhere in front of Guru’s house earlier this morning, we thought It was normal only to be crashed by another vehicle on our way to class, if not for God, it would have been more severe but no weapon formed against us shall prosper,”he wrote.

JayLit’s statement suggests that the accident may have had spiritual undertones, and that the feathers were a sign. His message conveys a sense of gratitude and awe at the narrow escape, attributing their survival to divine intervention.
