The National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced that Starlink will launch its operations in Ghana by the end of August 2024, following approval from the authority.

This marks a milestone in Ghana’s digital transformation journey.

In a statement on Thursday, August 22, NCA stated that Starlink will be operating by name Space X Starlink GH LTD. The internet service will offer unparalleled high-speed internet services, leveraging its constellation of low-Earth orbit satellites.

Starlink services may come at a premium, with equipment costs ranging from $600 to $2,500 and monthly fees between $120 and $5,000.

The NCA Statement can be found below.
