Dreams FC prodigy Abdul Aziz Issah’s outstanding performance at the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup has sparked global interest, with Nottingham Forest from the Premier League and three other clubs eyeing a potential transfer.

Born in 2005, Issah started his career playing for the Dreams Youth Academy, where he was promoted to the senior team in 2022. The young enterprising attacker made his debut on 17 September 2023 for the Still Believe boys in a Ghana Premier League game against Kotoku Royals.

The 18-year-old scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 12 Confederation Cup appearances before being eliminated by Egyptian giants Zamalek in the Semi-Finals of the competition.

Reports suggest that Abdul Aziz Issah’s proficiency in long-range shooting and dribbling prowess has attracted interest from multiple clubs, including English Premier League side Nottingham Forest, Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon, and other African powerhouses such as Zamalek and Al Ahly.

Sporting Lisbon, a prominent club in Portugal, is eager to secure the signing of Abdul Aziz Issah as they see him as an excellent replacement for Fatawu Issahaku. Issahaku is poised for a permanent move to Leicester City after helping secure a Premier League spot for the team next season.

Abdul Aziz Issah, before the successful Confederation Cup journey with Dreams FC, played a crucial role for the Ghana U20 team as they won a Gold Medal at the 2023 African Games.
