Electoral Commissioner of the Volta Hall Junior Common Room (JCR), Gloria Ntiamoah has assured residents that the results of the upcoming JCR elections scheduled for Friday, 23rd June, 2023 will be announced immediately at the end of voting.

Speaking on Campus Exclusive during the Presidential Debate, she stated she had plans for a transparent election. She added that the election will be declared once voting is over.

“Voting will end on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 at 8 am and ends at 8 pm and the results will be declared immediately. It’s going to be strictly online with support from the University of Ghana Computing System (UGCS) and a link will be sent to their student email so we encourage everyone to vote.”

She reiterated that a platform will be setup to address any issues regarding the voting process.

“And when you can’t find your link in your student email, we will have a Whatsapp platform and a number you can send your student ID to so that we can resend the link to you. Also, you have to check your spam folder in case the message ends up in your spam, and if you don’t see it then you can send us your student ID through our contact details that we will provide.”

Gloria Ntiamoah again advised residents to activate their student email in order to receive the voting link.

“The last thing is if you are in level 100 and you have not activated your student email, kindly do so because that’s the only email we will be sending the link to.”

Residents of the Volta Hall Junior Common Room are expected to go to the polls on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 from 8 am to 5 pm to elect a new crop of executives. The election is expected to be held online with support from the University of Ghana Computing System (UGCS).
