Radio Univers is set to host a special live broadcast on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 7 p.m., featuring candidates in the upcoming Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) elections.
The program, themed “Perusing the policies; probing the personalities,” will give graduate students an opportunity to hear directly from the aspirants—beyond campaign slogans—and engage critically with their ideas, values, and leadership plans.
All major portfolios will be represented in the forum. Presidential hopefuls Sadick Abubakari and William Segbenu will share their priorities for student welfare, advocacy, and the broader GRASAG agenda.
Candidates for general secretary, Kezia Opoku Marfo and Margaret Worgbah, are expected to outline plans for effective communication, transparency, and the internal workings of the association.
Treasurer aspirant Glen Konadu Gyimado will speak on financial accountability and resource management.
Contesting for organizing secretary, Eugene Agyare Mensah and Benedict Owusu will highlight strategies for events, student engagement, and mobilization.
The evening will also feature Abena Adoma Frimpong, who is running for gender commissioner, as she presents her vision for inclusion and gender equity within GRASAG.
The “Face-to-Face” show is positioned as a key moment for student accountability, encouraging informed voting and critical participation in student leadership.
Radio Univers invites the graduate student community to tune in on July 24 at 7 p.m. and be part of shaping the next chapter of GRASAG leadership.
