Radio Univers 105.7FM, Ghana’s premier campus radio station, has opened applications for its 2026 recruitment season, inviting passionate and creative 100- and 200-level students of the University of Ghana and other tertiary institutions to join its media team.
The recruitment targets students with interests in broadcasting, journalism, music, digital media, and current affairs, offering them the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional campus radio environment.

Applicant Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate a strong passion for their chosen role, along with confidence, creativity, and originality. Excellent communication and grammar skills are essential for on-air roles, while a curious, analytical, and team-oriented mindset is required across all departments.
Basic knowledge of relevant tools—such as design software, audio production tools, or social media platforms—will be an added advantage. A strong online presence is also beneficial for presenters, DJs, and digital content creators.
Training and Benefits
Successful applicants will receive professional training and mentorship from experienced media practitioners. They will also gain practical experience in radio broadcasting, production, and digital media, while earning a certificate in Journalism, Broadcasting, or Digital Media alongside their academic programmes.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to build confidence, increase visibility, and develop a strong professional media portfolio while working with Ghana’s leading campus radio station.

Supporting materials such as audio demos, videos, written work, design portfolios, or social media links may be attached or included. Applications may also be submitted in person at the Radio Univers studios behind the Department of Communication Studies or the newsroom located at JQB.
