Medikal announces a “Selfish Year,” plans to pause collaborations in 2025

Ghanaian rapper Medikal has announced plans to scale back on collaborations next year as he shifts focus to his personal projects.

In an interview on Daybreak Hitz, the rapper reveals that he did a lot of features this year and that next year will be a selfish year for him.

“Next year, I won’t be doing features. Next year will be a very selfish year for me because I did a lot of features this year, quite a few of them.”

In his interview with Daybreak hits he mentioned that he that he doesn’t charge for features except in exceptional cases

“I don’t charge for features, unless maybe if someone wants to offer something.”

Medikal has been a strong presence in the Ghanaian music scene, known for delivering back-to-back hits and collaborating with some of the industry’s top names.

As the year unfolds, fans can expect Medikal to release solo projects that showcase his talent and commitment to his brand.
