Ken Ofori Atta takes charge of Trade Ministry

President Akuffo Addo has appointed Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta as caretaker for the Ministry of Trade and Industry. This comes after the President accepted the resignation letter of Alan Kwodwo Kyerematen at the Jubilee House on Thursday, January 5, 2022.

According to a press statement from the Presidency issued on Friday, January 6, Ken Ofori Atta will be expected to act as caretaker minister at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, until a substantive appointment is made.

Meanwhile, the President of the Republic has thanked Mr. Kyerematen for the services he provided for his government and to the country and wished him well in his future endeavors.
