Upcoming musician Justice Plo Prempeh has announced a second attempt at his Singathon after the unsuccessful execution of his first effort. The Singathon is scheduled to take place from January 29 to February 2, and the artist remains confident and determined to make this initiative a success.
In an interview at the DJ Mercy’s show on Radio Univers, Justice Plo Prempeh shared that preparations for the upcoming Singathon are progressing smoothly, with increased support from sponsors both within and outside Ghana. He noted that the number of sponsors has significantly grown compared to his first attempt, although many supporters prefer to remain behind the scenes.
“Everything is going smoothly. I’ve received four times the number of sponsors, both from abroad and locally. The support system is strong, and most of them want to stay behind the scenes as secret sponsors,” he stated.
Regarding the failure of his first Singathon, Justice Plo Prempeh explained that the event was abruptly halted when the DJ disconnected the sound equipment without warning, leaving the team confused about what had gone wrong.
“All of a sudden, he disconnected the cord. We didn’t understand how or why he did that. When asked, he said he was sleeping and had a dream,” he recalled.
Despite the setback, the upcoming musician believes that the experience has only strengthened his resolve as he prepares for his second attempt.
