Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex 1996 are winners of the Nsenkyire Cup following a final-day victory over Legon Cities FC.
The Nsenkyire Cup is a tournament organized at the end of the season to honor the owner of Samartex FC, Mr.Richard Nsenkyire.
The competition featured Ghana’s top flight clubs FC Samartex, Nations FC, Nsoatreman FC, and Legon Cities.
Samartex delivered a dominant performance to lift the trophy after kicking off their campaign with a resounding 4-0 victory over Nsoatreman FC.
The hosts then drew 2-2 with Nations FC in 90 minutes., advancing through a thrilling marathon of penalty shootouts before beating Legon Cities by a goal to nil on Sunday
The Green-Blacks,through Baba Musah Hamadu secured the trophy with a narrow 1-0 win over Legon Cities FC.
FC Samartex attacker, Baba Hamadu Musah was named Best Player at the end of the 2024 Nsenkyire Cup. 
Samartex trophy triumph will boost morale as the club gears up for the CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against Cameroonian champions Victoria United
