After a disappointing result in the MTN FA Cup on Sunday, Dreams Football Club bounced back to winning ways securing a 2-1 triumph against Bechem United in the outstanding week 19 Ghana Premier League game at Dawu Park.

Just 10 minutes into the match, Dreams mifielder Godfred Atuahene netted the opening goal with a commanding header, courtesy of Ebenezar Adade’s precise cross. Bechem United’s 22-year-old forward, Boadi Ebenezer, restored parity for the Hunters in the 37th minute, making it 1-1 before the halftime whistle.

The second half was much more intense as both sides piled pressure in search of a second goal, but eventually, the efforts of the home team paid off as Ishmeal Dede doubled the lead for the Still Believe Boys in the 55th minute. Despite continued efforts, neither side managed to score again, securing Dreams’ victory after 90 minutes. Coach Karim Zito and his team dominated possession, with 59% in their favor compared to Bechem United’s 41%.

Bechem United has struggled to secure a victory in their last seven matches across all competitions, managing only four draws and suffering three defeats. Presently, the team occupies the 7th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 41 points from 29 games. They have scored 34 goals while conceding 26 goals thus far in the season.

Dreams FC on the other hand lies in the 14th position with 35 points after 26 games played. With three outstanding games in hand, the Still Believe Boys have scored 29 goals and conceded 28 goals in the Ghana Premier League.
