Founder of The Achieving Women’s Consult and seasoned entrepreneur, Mrs. Millicent Adoboe, has called on students to embrace entrepreneurship as a critical pathway to success in a rapidly evolving job market.
Speaking in an interview on Campus Exclusive Radio Univers on May 13, she underscored the declining availability of traditional job opportunities, emphasizing that the future belongs to those who can innovate, create, and lead.
“Entrepreneurship is the future, and you need to belong to the future. There are no jobs out there—we create the jobs. Entrepreneurs are the movers and shakers of every economy.”
Mrs. Adoboe’s remarks come ahead of the highly anticipated Achieving Show, a transformative event organized to introduce students to the world of entrepreneurship. The show aims to equip young people with the mindset and tools needed to build sustainable career paths rather than relying solely on conventional employment.
“This program is a golden opportunity for you to turn your life around, to impact your generation, to inspire others, and to make the world a better place.”
Mrs. Adoboe believes that initiatives like The Achieving Show are key to empowering students to think beyond the classroom, explore new ideas, and shape their own futures in meaningful ways. She also urged students to seize the opportunity to become change-makers in their communities and drivers of Ghana’s economic growth.
