Reports indicate a state of confusion at Mamobi located in the Ayawaso North Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.

Details surrounding the situation reveals that tensions erupted at a polling station located at Rombrown School. The situation reportedly began when security officials attempted to close the doors of the polling station, a move that party agents strongly opposed.

The party agents argued that polling stations are meant to remain open to ensure transparency and accessibility for voters. This disagreement has created a tense atmosphere, disrupting the otherwise calm electoral process however it is being reported that officials are actively working to resolve the issue.

A similar situation unfolded at the ATTC polling station in the Ayawaso Central Constituency, where security personnel closed the main gate to prevent motor riders from entering the yard. This measure, which was reported about an hour ago, aims to maintain order and ensure a smooth electoral process.

Additional security personnel have since been deployed to coordinate activities as voter turnout continues to increase. Despite earlier concerns, queues are now moving smoothly, and the atmosphere remains calm and organized.
