As Ghanaians gear up for a critical Election Day, voters are being reminded of key safety tips to ensure a peaceful, efficient, and secure voting process.

The atmosphere is charged with enthusiasm and anticipation as citizens prepare to exercise their democratic right and citizens are advised to stay calm and collected as they exercise their franchise tomorrow.

To help maintain order and safety, here are some important guidelines to note.

1. Plan Ahead: Voters are encouraged to visit their polling locations ahead of time to confirm the exact venue, avoiding last-minute confusion and delays.

2. Know the Hours: Polling stations open early but have specific closing times. Knowing your station’s hours can help prevent missing your chance to vote.

3. Stay Neutral: To foster a calm and non-partisan environment, voters should avoid wearing party colors or logos while at the polls.

4.Carry Identification: Ensure you have the required voter identification card or any other mandated documents to verify eligibility and vote.

5. Maintain Social Distancing: As safety remains a priority, voters should stay at least one meter apart from others, reducing overcrowding and ensuring smooth operations.

6. Be Prepared: Reviewing the ballot before heading to the polls can help voters cast their ballots correctly and confidently.

7. Leave Promptly: After voting and receiving a receipt, voters are advised to leave the polling center to avoid unnecessary congestion.

8. Observe Counting: After 5 PM, citizens can return to observe the vote-counting process, promoting transparency and trust in the electoral process.

The Electoral Commission and stakeholders have assured the public of robust security arrangements to ensure peaceful elections across the country.

Be reminded that as Ghanaians head to the polls, the world watches with admiration for the nation’s commitment to democratic values.
