The University of Ghana campus remains calm and orderly as the national elections officially begins across the country.

Voting commenced around at 7:00 a.m and is expected to close at 5:00 p.m, with polling stations on campus in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency fully operational.

In preparation for the elections, a significant number of students departed campus on December 6th to travel to their respective hometowns and exercise their franchise. Reports indicated that several VIP buses, fully booked, transported students to various destinations across the country.

Moreso, reports indicate that a considerable number of voters have lined up in queues at various polling stations on campus, patiently waiting for their turn to cast their ballots.

Security personnel have been spotted ensuring order, and there is no visible presence of the Ghana Armed Forces.

The campus remains calm and collected, with no signs of violence or incitement of unrest, as the electoral process continues smoothly.
