Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong,

Former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has urged students to develop a clear vision and strong personal determination, stressing that academic qualifications alone do not guarantee success.

‎Speaking at the Creative Mind in a Digital Age: Students’ Professional Identity event, Agyapong emphasized that what drives achievement is not one’s course of study but one’s mindset and ambition.

‎”Every student here, whether you’re an economics student, sociology, political science—you should have a vision. So ask yourself, what is your vision? Is your vision looking for a job after school, or a vision of building a business after school? You only have to acquire knowledge here. It doesn’t matter what you read on campus. It is you—the individual—and your determination.”

‎Agyapong encouraged students to reflect deeply on their future plans and not rely solely on formal education. He said true progress requires intentional goal-setting and strategic planning.

‎He also introduced the “GOSPA” model—an acronym for Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Planning, and Activities—as a personal development framework to help students stay focused.

‎His address served as both inspiration and challenge—urging students to take ownership of their future by combining knowledge with vision and discipline.
